WHAT IS A GROUP ACTIVITY?

This refers to any activity hosted by United By 8 and can include, but not limited to: Sail Away Party, Themed Dance Event while onshore and more to be announced.

WHAT'S THE AGE LIMIT FOR DANCE CLASSES?

United By 8: Dance At Sea is open to the whole family. Dance classes (Dancer Pass) are for 18+.

ARE WE GIVEN "FREE" TIME?

While nothing is mandatory while aboard, we would LOVE to see your smile and dancing feet at as many United By 8 activities scheduled.

IF A REGISTERED NON-DANCER WOULD LIKE TO TAKE A DANCE CLASS, HOW MUCH EXTRA IS IT?

It is $25 per dance class. * Space is limited and not guaranteed. If a class is full, you will be added to a waiting list.

WHAT IS THE AGE SOMEONE CAN CRUISE?

Cruise fares are per person which includes children and infants. When traveling with 2 full fare guests, additional guests in the same stateroom pay a discounted cruise fare. Children less than 2 years of age are not required to extend gratuities. Infants must be at least 6 months of age at the time of embarkation in order to sail. Children must be at least 12 months of age at the time of embarkation to sail on trans-ocean crossings and remote itineraries, where there are more than 2 consecutive sea days.

WHAT ARE THE AGES FOR THE YOUTH PROGRAM?

IS THERE A PAYMENT PLAN?

Yes, there's an option to split payment. As of August 20th, you can split into 2 even increments until August 31st. Fees will be auto-deducted 1 month following your registration date.

CAN I RECEIVE CARNIVAL VIFP REWARDS CREDIT IF I'VE TRAVELED WITH CARNIVAL CRUISE BEFORE?

Any rewards will be linked to your VIFP if you were a past guest. Please add your VIFP (ID) number when you register.

Friday, November 8th - Boarding time is between 2:00-5:00pm by scheduled appointments during Carnival's pre-registration. * Details on registration will be sent via email from United By 8 as we get closer to sail date. * All cabin-mates are required to select a boarding time and ALL are to board at the same time. Monday, November 11th - Arrival back to Long Beach port is at 7:00am. Earliest to disembark the ship is 9am. *We recommend not booking a flight any earlier than 11:00am to be safe.

WHAT DO WE DO WHEN WE PORT IN ENSENADA, MEXICO?

We will get off for an all group activity in Ensenada on Sunday, November 10th. We would to thrilled to have everyone there to enjoy another epic Dance Finale. Encouraged not to miss. *Of course you can elect to participate in the all group dance activity and/or have fun as you please i.e. Book an excursion

DO WE NEED A PASSPORT?

Yes and No. Having a valid passport makes it easier to travel to Mexico and back, BUT you can opt to bring your birth certificate and valid identification card to use as ID verification.

WHAT IS TRAVEL INSURANCE?

In life, you never really know what may happen…but you can rely on the Vacation Protection trip cancellation. If you need to cancel for some of the most common reasons (severe weather, illness, etc.) you'll get 100% of the cost of your trip back. If you need to cancel for any reason not listed in the plan — any reason at all — you'll get 75% back in a Future Cruise Credit Certificate.

WHAT ARE THE CABIN ACCOMMODATIONS? WHAT'S THE SET-UP?

You may choose your accommodations based on 4 criteria: Cabin Occupancy, Cabin Style, Cabin Location and Cabin Placement 1.) Cabin Occupancy: Single, Double, Trio, Quad 2.) Cabin Style: Interior, Exterior, Suite (Grand or Junior) 3.) Cabin Location: Front, Middle, Back (Aft) 4.) Cabin Placement: Basic, Standard, Deluxe, Premium

WHAT DOES CABIN PLACEMENT MEAN?

Cabin placement refers to the deck level of your cabin. A cruiser may select to be placed higher on the ship which adds a convenience i.e. less steps on your fitbit

CAN I DETERMINE WHICH DECK I CAN BE ON?

You cannot select your specific deck; however, by choosing basic, standard, deluxe or premium, the deck level will move up accordingly.

WHERE SHOULD MY CABIN BE LOCATED TO MINIMIZE A "ROCKY" TRIP?

Typically, middle cabins are best suited for minimum "rocking".

WHAT IF I WANT TO ROOM WITH A FRIEND?

Please make sure to list any roommates you wish to have when registering. ALL members of your party will need to register on United By 8 website before we can officially berth your cabin on the ship. ALL members of your cabin must select ALL criteria the SAME: Cabin Occupancy, Cabin Style, Cabin Location, Cabin Placement, and Gratitues. *Any discrepancies will DELAY the berthing process which can include increase in rate (due to Carnival Cruise price changes). **Any discrepancies will be adjusted to match the highest option selected.

CAN YOU ASSIGN A ROOMMATE TO ME IF I DON'T HAVE ONE BUT WISH TO STAY IN MULTIPLE OCCUPANCY ROOM?

Unfortunately, we will not be able to address assignments. As a courtesy, we can connect you to our Facebook group and you can announce that you are looking for a roommate. Please email [email protected] with your facebook handle. We suggest double occupancy because finding one (1) cabin mates is easier than looking for 2 or more. If you're having a challenge to finding a cabin mate(s), we encourage you to wait on registering for the dance cruise until all has been finalized.

WHAT TO BRING?

Alcoholic beverages may not be consumed on the ship except by adults 21 years of age. Guests (21 years of age and older) may bring one 750 ml bottle of sealed/unopened wine or champagne per person in their carry-on luggage. WHAT HAPPENS IF I GET SICK?

Should a guest require medical attention while aboard one of our vessels, the Medical Center staff is available to assist 24 hours a day. The on board medical centers are staffed and equipped to treat routine medical conditions as well as to initiate stabilization of more serious conditions. Physicians are available to render services at a customary fee. While at sea or in port, the availability of medical care may be limited.
